Your Guam Chamber Small Business Focus & Development Committee is pleased to announce that Ms. Toshie Ito, Motiva Training & Consulting will be the featured speaker for this month’s small business seminar. She will speak on the topic - "Looking For The Right Person To Hire? What About Us As Employers?" and will be covering some key discussions on:

• Do your products or services attract future employees?
• Doing more than job advertisement and posting.
• How to make job interviews informative and engaging.
• Creative and educational new hire orientation ideas.
• Investing in those who train newcomers and giving them right tools.
• How to use training checklists to build confidence in new employees.
• Managers and supervisors with a balanced IQ and EQ (emotional intelligence).
• Creating opportunities for new employees to use their fresh sets of eyes and ears.
• Creating individual Employee Development Plans
• Importance of letting go of expectations

This event is scheduled for Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Somnak Ballroom, Westin Resort Guam. The seminar is open to members at $45.00 and future members at $60.00. Registration is open! Members and Future Members are encouraged to RSVP and make advance payments to secure their seats for a swift and smooth entry on the day of the event.
